At Brown Girls Do Ballet, everything we do is inspired by the desire to support dancers of color by providing resources, opportunities, and a loving community to help them thrive. Our partnership with The Tutu School is just one of our many initiatives. Explore our website to learn more about us!

The Tutu School was founded by Genevieve Custer Weeks, who “envisioned a quaint boutique of a ballet school that would provide a creative dance education experience for children, and a place where students would be urged to fully exercise their imaginations as well as their bodies.”

“At Tutu School, we believe that early exposure to movement and music can play a foundational role in the life of a child, and that all children deserve access to that kind of life-changing magic. We’re honored BGDB has chosen to partner with us, and we promise we’re just getting started.”
