Karyn Nesby
Karyn Nesby has been in leadership as a Director at a Fortune 500 company guiding teams that consists of User Experience, UI development and Mobile application development. One thing that is constant is she has a knack for coaching people to find their way, reset or trailblaze new territory. Karyn is also the Principal and Founder of KMN Coaching and Consulting LLC., that coaches emerging leaders, with an emphasis on technology and creative professionals.
Born and raised in Kansas, now living in Florida. Karyn received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Kansas State University and Master of Arts in Management & Leadership from Webster University. She earned a certificate in Personal Development Coaching and is a Project Management Professional (PMP) ®, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), holds a User Experience Certification (UXC) with a Management Specialty.
Karyn truly enjoys volunteering with nonprofits and mentoring. She is the former Chair for the National African American Women’s Leadership Institute, current coach for BlackUXLabs, current Board Member of Brown Girls Do Ballet® and current Program Chair for Footprints of Angels.
She has over 18 years of professional experience and has developed talented and diverse teams. Karyn has participated in STEAM focused initiatives that support underrepresented communities, women-focused as well as advocating for creative professionals in the workplace.
